Data Management Consultant

The goal of this project was to analyze and consolidate project technical documentation that was residing in Documentum as well as file system:

• Developed database and Knowledge Base, then cleansed, deduplicated, enhanced and consolidated document metadata

• Some Interpreting of technical documents to verify their conformity

• Created a new metadata structure for the target system

• Developed workflows, generated and executed scripts to load file system data into target system

• Generated and Executed scripts to relocate Documentum documents into the target system

Outcome: complete Iron Ore technical documentation relocated to new Documentum System

Additionally, prepared file system resident CAD files for migration to ProjectWise:

• Collected file metadata into a database, cleansed and deduplicated the metadata

• Created structure suitable for the target system

• Generated and executed scripts for file migration to the new structure

Outcome: prepared around 250K files for loading to ProjectWise
